We understand that making a decision about your child’s education is a significant one and that it is important to be as informed as possible.

School Tours for 2024 can now be booked on-line at https://www.trybooking.com/CFTBJ

(there is no cost and no need to print a ticket). These tours are for students commencing school in 2025.

We trust that by exploring our website, talking to our staff and perhaps speaking with current Old Orchard families, you will be well equipped to make an informed decision. Please do not hesitate at any stage to contact the school to ask questions or seek clarification in relation to the school or the transition process.

School zones

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.

Students residing in our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. Our school also has additional capacity available to welcome students who are outside of our school zone.

The Department provides guidance through the Enrolment: Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School zones.

We understand that choosing your child’s school is a major decision for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to contact us on 9877-7899 or old.orchard.ps@education.vic.gov.au if you require any further assistance. We are here to help and will get back to you very quickly to answer any questions you might have and to assist with the process. We look forward to your application and hope you will be joining our school community soon.
